If someone you’re calling on JusTalk Kids cannot hear you, there are several steps you can take to check and resolve potential issues on your device.

 

1. Test Your Microphone
Before assuming it’s a network or app issue:
  • Откройте voice recorder или camera app on your device and record a short audio or video
  • Play it back to confirm that your microphone is functioning normally
If the recording is clear, your microphone hardware is likely fine.

 

2. Check Microphone Permissions
JusTalk Kids needs permission to access your microphone to send your voice during a call.
  • iOS: Settings > JusTalk Kids > Microphone > Ensure it is enabled
  • Андроид: Settings > Apps > JusTalk Kids > Permissions > Microphone > Ensure it is allowed
Without proper permission, the other party will not be able to hear you.

 

3. Close Other Apps That May Use the Microphone
Some apps (like music, voice recorder, or video apps) may temporarily take control of the microphone, which can prevent JusTalk Kids from capturing your voice.
  • Close any such apps before making a call

4. Check Device Settings
  • Make sure your device is not muted
  • Ensure Do Not Disturb or any audio restrictions are disabled
  • For iOS users: Check Screen Time content & privacy restrictions to make sure microphone access is allowed
  • Additionally, you can switch to other sources in the app’s Settings -> Calls -> Audio input sources.

 

5. Restart the App or Device
Sometimes, a simple restart of JusTalk Kids или reboot of your device can resolve temporary audio glitches.

 

6. Still Not Working?
If you have tried all the above and the other party still cannot hear you:
  • Make sure your network connection is stable
  • Test calling another contact to see if the problem persists
